Na osnovu podataka Zavoda za statistiku Republike Srbije u Beogradu je 2020 godine izgradjeno 7.674 stanova ukupne površine 574.470 m2. Najviše ih je izgrađeno u Zemunu 1.522, zatim na Zverzdari 1.243 i Voždovcu 1085 stanova. Nasuprot njima u opštinama Novi Beograd, Lazarevac, Surčin, Sopot, Grocka, Savski venac, Barajevo grade se stanovi sa najvećom prosečnom veličinom.
